In het kort

We verwerken alleen wat nodig is om de app te laten werken: wat jij invult, je account en je abonnement.
We verkopen je gegevens nooit en gebruiken ze niet voor advertenties.
AI-functies (zoals de coach) sturen tekst naar een AI-dienst, alleen met je uitdrukkelijke toestemming. Die dienst mag je gegevens niet gebruiken om modellen te trainen.
Gezondheidsgegevens lezen we alleen als jij dat toestaat, en je kunt dat altijd intrekken. Koppel je ze aan een doel, dan kan de voortgang van dat doel meegaan naar de AI-teksten.
Je kunt al je gegevens in de app exporteren en je account met alle gegevens in de app verwijderen.

1. Wie we zijn

LifeGuide is een app van [BEDRIJFSNAAM], [ADRES], [LAND VAN VESTIGING], ondernemingsnummer [ONDERNEMINGSNUMMER] (hierna "wij"). Wij zijn de verwerkingsverantwoordelijke voor je persoonsgegevens in de LifeGuide-app.

2. Welke gegevens we verwerken

Gegevens	Wat precies
Account	E-mailadres, voornaam en je inlogmethode (e-mail, Apple of Google). Een wachtwoord slaan we alleen versleuteld op, via onze inlogdienst.
Onboarding en Balans	De levensdomeinen die je kiest, je scores (1–10), waarom iets belangrijk is voor je, en je eerste stap.
Ritme	Check-ins (energie en labels, ook je eigen labels), de dagafsluiting (je antwoorden en de spiegelzin), weekmomenten (intentie, keuzes) en je ritme-instellingen.
Doelen en gewoontes	Titels, waarom, voortgang, afvinkingen, notities en reviews.
Kompas	Missie, kernwaarden, ikigai, visie over 10 jaar, bucketlist en je visionboard (tekst en de gegenereerde of geüploade afbeeldingen).
Coachgesprekken	Je berichten aan de coach, de antwoorden, en per gesprek een korte samenvatting die de coach als geheugen gebruikt.
Stilte	Gong- en ademhalingssessies (soort, duur).
Gezondheidsgegevens (optioneel)	Alleen als je Apple Health of Health Connect koppelt, en alleen lezen: slaap, stappen, tijd in daglicht, hartslagvariabiliteit, je gemoedstoestand ("State of Mind", alleen iOS), gewicht, trainingen (met afstand) en mindful minuten. We bewaren de waarden die je aan een doel koppelt, met per meting de details die Health meegeeft (bijvoorbeeld soort training, tijd, duur, afstand, calorieën en de app die de meting schreef), en de dagwaarden die je in Historiek bekijkt (slaap, stappen, daglicht, hartslagvariabiliteit en een stressniveau uit je gemoedstoestand).
Abonnement	Je abonnementsstatus (Free, Pro, proefperiode) en aankoopgebeurtenissen. Betaalgegevens zien wij nooit; die blijven bij Apple of Google.
Gebruiksstatistieken (optioneel)	Welke stappen je zet in de app (bv. "contactmoment afgerond"), gekoppeld aan een anonieme gebruikers-ID. Nooit wat je schrijft. Uit te zetten onder Profiel → Privacy & data.
Technische gegevens	Foutmeldingen van de app, en per AI-verzoek welke functie, welk model en hoeveel tekst (in tokens) werd gebruikt — niet de inhoud.

Wat je zelf schrijft (reflecties, doelen, coachgesprekken) kan gevoelig zijn, bijvoorbeeld over hoe je je voelt. We gebruiken het alleen om de app voor jou te laten werken.

3. Waarvoor en op welke grond

De app laten werken — je account, je invoer bewaren, je voortgang tonen en herinneringen plannen. Grond: uitvoering van de overeenkomst (art. 6.1.b AVG).
Persoonlijke AI-functies — de erkenning en "Help me" bij de start (ook al vóór je een account hebt), de coach, de spiegelzin bij je dagafsluiting, het weekinzicht, de voorstellen op het startscherm, hulp bij doelen en de Kompas-hulp (ikigai-samenvatting en visionboard). Wat je daarvoor schrijft, kan iets zeggen over je gezondheid, zoals hoe je je voelt of slaapt. Grond: je uitdrukkelijke toestemming (art. 9.2.a AVG), die we in de app vragen vóór de eerste AI-functie. Je kunt die toestemming altijd intrekken in de app ([PLAATS IN DE APP]). Dan stuurt LifeGuide geen gegevens meer naar de AI-dienst en werkt de app verder zonder AI-functies. Intrekken geldt voor de toekomst. Wil je ook je gegevens kwijt, verwijder dan je account (zie §6).
Gezondheidsgegevens — om doelen automatisch bij te werken en inzichten te tonen. Gebruik je ook AI-functies, dan gaat de voortgang van een doel dat aan Health gekoppeld is mee in de AI-teksten (bijvoorbeeld "vandaag 6.400/8.000 stappen"). Grond: je uitdrukkelijke toestemming (art. 9.2.a AVG). Voor het lezen geef je die in de toestemmingsvraag van je toestel en kun je ze altijd intrekken (Instellingen → Koppelingen, of in de instellingen van je toestel). Voor de AI-functies geldt de toestemming hierboven.
Abonnementen — je toegang tot Pro bepalen. Grond: uitvoering van de overeenkomst en wettelijke verplichtingen (boekhouding).
De app verbeteren — anonieme gebruiksstatistieken en foutmeldingen. Grond: gerechtvaardigd belang (art. 6.1.f AVG); je kunt de statistieken altijd uitzetten.

We nemen geen beslissingen met rechtsgevolgen op basis van geautomatiseerde verwerking. AI-teksten zijn suggesties; jij beslist wat je ermee doet.

4. AI in LifeGuide

Voor de coach en andere persoonlijke teksten sturen onze servers de relevante gegevens (bijvoorbeeld je Kompas, doelen en hun voortgang, ook als die uit Apple Health of Health Connect komt, recente reflecties en het gesprek) naar Anthropic (Claude). Voor visionboard-afbeeldingen sturen we een beschrijving op basis van je Kompas naar OpenAI. Dat gebeurt altijd via onze eigen server, nooit rechtstreeks vanuit de app.

Beide diensten verwerken deze gegevens alleen om het antwoord te maken. Volgens hun zakelijke voorwaarden gebruiken ze gegevens uit hun API niet om hun modellen te trainen.

Coachgesprekken bewaren we, zodat je ze kunt teruglezen en de coach erop kan voortbouwen. Na elk gesprek maakt de AI een samenvatting van drie zinnen, die de coach bij een volgend gesprek als geheugen gebruikt.

5. Met wie we gegevens delen

We delen je gegevens alleen met dienstverleners die ze voor ons verwerken, onder een verwerkersovereenkomst:

Voor doorgifte naar de Verenigde Staten steunen we op het EU-VS Data Privacy Framework of op de standaardcontractbepalingen van de Europese Commissie.

We verkopen je gegevens nooit, en we delen ze niet met adverteerders. We geven gegevens alleen aan overheden als de wet ons daartoe verplicht.

6. Hoe lang we gegevens bewaren

Zolang je account bestaat. Verwijder je je account (Profiel → Account verwijderen), dan wissen we meteen al je gegevens, je bestanden en je inlogaccount.
Back-ups bij onze hostingpartner verdwijnen daarna automatisch binnen [BEWAARTERMIJN BACK-UPS].
Gegevens die we wettelijk moeten bewaren (bijvoorbeeld voor de boekhouding van abonnementen) bewaren we zolang de wet dat vraagt.

7. Je rechten

Je hebt het recht om je gegevens in te zien, te laten verbeteren, te laten wissen, de verwerking te beperken, bezwaar te maken, en je gegevens mee te nemen. Veel daarvan kan meteen in de app:

Inzien en meenemen: Profiel → Privacy & data → Mijn data exporteren (een JSON-bestand met al je gegevens).
Wissen: Profiel → Account verwijderen.
Toestemming intrekken: AI-functies in de app ([PLAATS IN DE APP]); gezondheidskoppeling in Instellingen of in je toestel; statistieken onder Privacy & data.

Voor al het andere mail je naar [E-MAILADRES PRIVACY]. We antwoorden binnen een maand.

Ben je niet tevreden over hoe we met je gegevens omgaan, dan kun je een klacht indienen bij de Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be) of bij de toezichthouder in het land waar je woont.

8. Beveiliging

Alle verkeer tussen de app en onze servers is versleuteld. Elke gebruiker kan in de database alleen de eigen gegevens lezen. Sleutels voor AI-diensten staan alleen op onze server, nooit in de app. Toegang voor ons team is beperkt tot wat nodig is voor support en beheer.

9. Leeftijd

LifeGuide is bedoeld voor volwassenen. De app is niet gericht op kinderen jonger dan 16 jaar, en we verwerken niet bewust hun gegevens. Je moet minstens 16 jaar zijn om LifeGuide te gebruiken, met of zonder account (zie de gebruiksvoorwaarden).

10. Wijzigingen

Als we dit beleid wezenlijk veranderen, laten we dat in de app weten. De datum bovenaan toont de laatste versie.

In short

We only process what the app needs to work: what you enter, your account and your subscription.
We never sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
AI features (such as the coach) send text to an AI service, only with your explicit consent. That service may not use your data to train models.
We only read health data if you allow it, and you can withdraw that at any time. If you link it to a goal, that goal's progress can be included in AI texts.
You can export all your data and delete your account with all its data inside the app.

1. Who we are

LifeGuide is an app by [BEDRIJFSNAAM], [ADRES], [LAND VAN VESTIGING], company number [ONDERNEMINGSNUMMER] ("we"). We are the controller of your personal data in the LifeGuide app.

2. What data we process

Account	Email address, first name and how you sign in (email, Apple or Google). A password is only stored encrypted, by our sign-in service.
Onboarding and Balance	The life areas you choose, your scores (1–10), why something matters to you, and your first step.
Rhythm	Check-ins (energy and labels, including your own labels), the day closing (your answers and the mirror), weekly moments (intention, choices) and your rhythm settings.
Goals and habits	Titles, why, progress, check-offs, notes and reviews.
Compass	Mission, core values, ikigai, 10-year vision, bucket list and your vision board (text and generated or uploaded images).
Coach conversations	Your messages to the coach, the replies, and a short summary per conversation that the coach uses as memory.
Stillness	Gong and breathing sessions (type, duration).
Health data (optional)	Only if you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, and read-only: sleep, steps, time in daylight, heart rate variability, your state of mind (iOS only), weight, workouts (with distance) and mindful minutes. We store the values you link to a goal, with the details Health provides for each measurement (for example workout type, time, duration, distance, calories and the app that recorded it), and the daily values you view in History (sleep, steps, daylight, heart rate variability and a stress level derived from your state of mind).
Subscription	Your subscription status (Free, Pro, trial) and purchase events. We never see payment details; they stay with Apple or Google.
Usage statistics (optional)	Which steps you take in the app (e.g. "check-in completed"), linked to an anonymous user ID. Never what you write. Can be turned off under Profile → Privacy & data.
Technical data	App error reports, and per AI request which feature, which model and how much text (in tokens) was used — not the content.

What you write yourself (reflections, goals, coach conversations) can be sensitive, for example about how you feel. We only use it to make the app work for you.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Running the app — your account, storing your input, showing your progress and scheduling reminders. Basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Personal AI features — the acknowledgement and "Help me" when you get started (even before you have an account), the coach, the mirror on your day closing, the weekly insight, the suggestions on the home screen, help with goals and the Compass help (ikigai summary and vision board). What you write for these can say something about your health, such as how you feel or sleep. Basis: your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR), which we ask for in the app before the first AI feature. You can withdraw that consent at any time in the app ([PLAATS IN DE APP]). LifeGuide then no longer sends data to the AI service, and the app keeps working without AI features. Withdrawal applies from then on. If you also want your data gone, delete your account (see §6).
Health data — to update goals automatically and show insights. If you also use AI features, the progress of a goal linked to Health is included in AI texts (for example "today 6,400/8,000 steps"). Basis: your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR). For reading, you give it in your device's permission prompt and can withdraw it at any time (Settings → Connections, or your device settings). For AI features, the consent above applies.
Subscriptions — determining your access to Pro. Basis: performance of the contract and legal obligations (accounting).
Improving the app — anonymous usage statistics and error reports. Basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); you can turn statistics off at any time.

We do not make decisions with legal effects based on automated processing. AI texts are suggestions; you decide what to do with them.

4. AI in LifeGuide

For the coach and other personal texts, our servers send the relevant data (for example your Compass, goals and their progress, also when it comes from Apple Health or Health Connect, recent reflections and the conversation) to Anthropic (Claude). For vision board images, we send a description based on your Compass to OpenAI. This always happens through our own server, never directly from the app.

Both services only process this data to create the response. Under their commercial terms, they do not use data from their API to train their models.

We store coach conversations so you can read them back and the coach can build on them. After each conversation, the AI writes a three-sentence summary that the coach uses as memory in a next conversation.

5. Who we share data with

We only share your data with service providers who process it on our behalf, under a data processing agreement:

For transfers to the United States, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We never sell your data and do not share it with advertisers. We only disclose data to authorities when the law requires us to.

6. How long we keep data

As long as your account exists. If you delete your account (Profile → Delete account), we immediately erase all your data, your files and your sign-in account.
Backups at our hosting partner are then deleted automatically within [BEWAARTERMIJN BACK-UPS].
Data we are legally required to keep (for example for subscription accounting) is kept for as long as the law requires.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to restrict processing, to object, and to take your data with you. Much of this works directly in the app:

Access and portability: Profile → Privacy & data → Export my data (a JSON file with all your data).
Erasure: Profile → Delete account.
Withdraw consent: AI features in the app ([PLAATS IN DE APP]); health connection in Settings or on your device; statistics under Privacy & data.

For anything else, email [E-MAILADRES PRIVACY]. We reply within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be) or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

8. Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted. In the database, each user can only read their own data. Keys for AI services live only on our server, never in the app. Access by our team is limited to what is needed for support and administration.

9. Age

LifeGuide is intended for adults. The app is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly process their data. You must be at least 16 to use LifeGuide, with or without an account (see the terms of use).

10. Changes

If we materially change this policy, we will let you know in the app. The date at the top shows the latest version.
